ELITE Soccer is the competitive branch of Newark Soccer Club where players experience the highest level of training and competition in the area. ELITE Soccer teams function year round with teams playing in both Spring and Fall Leagues, various tournaments, and Northern California’s most exciting competition, State Cup.

ELITE Coaches are promoted from our recreational league by our board of directors based on their merits, expertise, and capabilities. ELITE coaches are encouraged to continue their coaching education and knowledge through various training organizations.

ELITE Teams are chosen at the discretion of the ELITE Coaches and formed based on players overall skill, abilities (mental and physical), attitude, work ethic, and how they will represent ELITE Soccer.

ELITE Players possess three core qualities:

  1. The mental and physical ability to thrive in the most challenging circumstances.
  2. An understanding and love for the sport of soccer. Off the field, they eat, sleep, and breath soccer; motivated by greater competition, and self mastery.
  3. An attitude and commitment to themselves, their team, their coaches, and their community .

ELITE Commitment is only for the most physically, emotionally, and ethically sound players and coaches, whose families are prepared for the commitment. Skill alone does not make the club ELITE as Players, Coaches, and Families all know they are invested in the club as a whole.
